Medical Cannabis Pioneer Tikun Olam Enters Florida MMJ Market with Exclusive VidaCann Partnership

Multi-state operator Tikun Olam (“Tikun”) announces its latest exclusive state partnership with leading Florida cannabis provider VidaCann.

Tikun-branded products are now available in vape oils, tinctures and topicals at all VidaCann dispensaries and via delivery throughout the state, serving Florida’s 200,000 medical marijuana patients. VidaCann is currently serving patients in Bradenton, Deerfield Beach, Daytona Beach, Orlando, Palm Bay, St. Petersburg, Tallahassee and Tampa, and expects to open an additional six dispensaries by end of Summer 2019.

Tikun’s proprietary cannabis varietals are shown to deliver symptomatic relief for many of Florida’s qualifying conditions, and in a major recent published study were shown to be a “safe, effective” treatment for elderly patients–while reducing opioid use.

“Florida is arguably one of the fastest-growing medical cannabis markets in the world, especially among the elderly,” says Tikun CMO Stephen Gardner. “Our partnership with VidaCann ensures that we can bring the word-renowned Tikun quality and consistency to Florida patients, while having the growth capacity to meet increasing patient demand.”

VidaCann, one of only 14 state-licensed medical cannabis providers in Florida, currently dedicates no less than 70,000 square feet of cannabis cultivation space in two state-of-the-art greenhouses. This footprint will increase to four greenhouses (140,000 square feet) and will yield thousands of cannabis plants per week.

VidaCann’s cGMP-certified processing facility and analytical lab will ensure consistency of Tikun product and deliver patients the same medical benefits whether they are in Florida or in Israel, according to Peyton Moseley, VP of Product Development at VidaCann.

“The clinical data that supports the Tikun suite of products is unsurpassed,” says Moseley. “This partnership will further our mission to help physicians and patients navigate cannabinoid therapy in Florida.”
